Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, which treat half a million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians.This is a full time 12 hour night shift schedule 1845-0715, at our Scripps Green Hospital in Torrey Pines. No call during the week or weekends except for holiday rotation. There is a bonus of $4K and a relocation incentive $3K to eligible new hires.

Join Scripps Green Hospital Surgery Team, which operates in 12 OR suites and sees 900 cases a month. The ideal candidate for the position will have 1 or more years of OR experience, including, but not limited to Ortho, General, Urology, Vascular and Spine. This is a busy and fast-paced environment which requires teamwork and cooperation to provide the highest level of patient care.

Provides direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice.
Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.
Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.

One year of recent RN experience in the Operating Room (Circulating) or successful completion of Scripps' peri-operative training program or an approved external peri-operative training program


California Registered Nurse License


Current American Heart Association BLS provider certification


Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.


Excellent interpersonal skills.


Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors


Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing


Preferred Qualifications:


2 + years surgery experience preferred


Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.


Bachelor's degree in nursing
