Job Description:
We are currently in need of a Food Scientist in the city of
Whittier, CA.
Our client is a premium supplier of high quality functional foods
such as nutrition bars, soft chews, and a number of other
functional food deliveries. We are seeking a highly motivated and
creative food scientist to join their team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for aspects of
developing innovative functional foods, sourcing and testing new
ingredients.
- Conducting shelf life studies, assisting in trial runs and scale
ups, participating in sensory panels.
- Work in conjunction with the QC department and assist in managing
samples, writing HACCP updates, writing specification sheets,
organizing test results from
- Experience in Food/Dietary Supplements a plus.
- Spanish is a plus
The position requires a four year BS degree in Food
Science.
