The OpportunityAMN is honored to partner with CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (HPMC) on the recruitment of a new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). The role provides financial leadership, analysis, and operational support to all levels of management and reports to the Chief Executive Officer. A national executive search is underway.The PositionThe Chief Financial Officer is a key member of the leadership team with CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center (HPMC). The CFO reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. HPMC is a strong medical facility with excellent care provided to the community. This role leads the company's financial services resulting in the highest financial viability and investment grade rating possible. Directs the organization's financial planning and accounting practices as well as its relationship with lending institutions, shareholders and the financial community. Oversees and directs treasury, budgeting, audit, tax, accounting, purchasing, real estate and insurance activities for the organization. Directs and analyzes studies of general economic, business and financial conditions and their impact on the organization's policies and operations. The CFO has the responsibility to set overall financial policies and procedures for HPMC. The successful candidate must have knowledge, vision, and ability to execute on a strategic financial plan to ensure ongoing and future success, financial stability, and intentional growth, while also maintaining HPMC's existing financial strength and collaborative culture and continued operational strength. This new executive will serve as the subject matter expert of HPMC's financial future in collaboration with the executive team.The Ideal Candidate

  • Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.
  • Five years recent experience in a similar position in an acute healthcare setting.
  • The successful candidate will currently be a Chief Financial Officer, VP of Finance, or hold another senior finance executive-level position in a healthcare provider organization with a reputation for excellence.
  • The successful candidate must possess outstanding and hands-on finance leadership skills/experience.
  • Highly developed organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates familiarity with Microsoft Office Software, (especially Excel), as well as Outlook.
  • Advanced knowledge of accounting software and electronic health record packages.

In addition, this executive will be eligible for other benefits. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be determined based on various factors, including but not limited to scope of role, level of experience, education, accomplishments, internal equity, budget, and subject to Fair Market Value evaluation.
